So I previously had a blog at blogspot.com but apparently you have to be a gmail user to view that.. so hopefully everyone can view this :)
Here is what I had posted so far :) I will try and keep everyone in the loop as much as possible and not leave anyone out there just “i wonder this.. i wonder that” :) Thanks for everyone being so supportive in this crazy, scary, exciting time in our lives.

So as I head to lunch with a girlfriend I reach into my pocket to find a pregnancy test, oops need to trash that. I had taken it at work actually and thought i waited long enough but apparently not. When i went to throw it away it was positive!!! what?! ok must have changed because it was sitting for so long. So as I got I proceeded to go Juno syle and take like 5 more. 4 out of 5 were positive.
This was on Friday February 13th yes a little errie haha . .
This was also the night for Brendan’s birthday party. At this point i have called angie in a panic… “what do i do?” is this “real” let me back up a second… i had only taken one test (in the am) before i got to angies house, that is when i proceeded to pee on like a million sticks.
I think i didnt seem to overly excited because it was a lot to take in… Angie was over joyed and jumping up and down and I just kind of stood there. haha . dont get me wrong this was COMPLETLY planned and we had been “trying”. But I guess I thought it just happened so fast.
Needless to say Im VERY excited.
So now we wait. Currently I would be a little over 7 weeks but after our first appointment on March 3rd I must have “concived” a little later and am about 6 weeks. We will tell people when I either a)start showing or 2)reach the three month mark :) just to be on the safe side.
Our next appointment is on March 12th at 1:15… till then..

Today was so exciting :) I went for my first “prenatal” appt. Was really anxious to know how it would turn out because I have already had an ultrasound about a week and a half ago to date the pregnancy but it was too early and they said that it was just a sac and we only had to give it time..
Left discouraged and a little anxious/scared all I could do is wait for today’s appointment.
My appointment lasted from about 9:30 to 11:30. Consisted of the nurse taking in all my medical history and what not and talking about myself and all that… then the doctor came in aout 10 or 10:15. She was anxious to do an ultrasound to make sure everyhing was good. So we got right down to it and did it.
She immediatly could see the heartbeat ! :) it was so awesome!
We did not hear the heartbeat but we could see it. Was strong and she was confident that everything was fine and healthy. I will upload a photo soon :) Its VERY cool, you can see a little arm and everything. So crazy how its heart is beating away but I cannot feel a thing! (it was a pelvic ultrasound)
We then finish that up got a printed pic for the fridge and went over history and testing that we may want to have done.
All in all today was a milestone :) Was great to see him/her little heart beating away :)
I am about 7 weeks give or take a day. She was not exactly sure what my due date would be she was going to review all of my ultrasounds and give me a day :)
